    I am a teacher trainer and postdoctoral researcher in foreign language pedagogy at the Interfacultaire Lerarenopleiding (ILO), University of Amsterdam. 

    As a teacher trainer, I focus on modern foreign language education in secondary schools and supervise students who are enrolled in foreign language pedagogy courses. 

    I hold a PhD in Third Language Acquisition in which I investigated the influence of English as a second language on the acquisition of French and German as third languages. My current research interests include second and third language teaching, multilingual writing and writing pedagogy in secondary education. I am particularly interested in how multilingual learners develop language and writing skills across their languages.
