In Pure, researchers can register their publications and other research output. It can also be used to create reports on research results (e.g. publications) and about researchers (e.g. prizes and special appointments). Pure is intended for researchers of the UvA, but also for staff of the secretariats and policy departments. Pure is the source for UvA-DARE and other repositories.
It is important to keep your output up-to-date as the ACLC uses this information to collect data on the amount and type of academic output being produced by its members. Pure is furthermore used as a management tool for creating UvA business reports and fact sheets for organisations such as KNAW and VSNU.
A Pure account is created automatically for all staff members registered in SAP. To log into Pure, you require your UvAnetID and password. If you need access to Pure but haven't got it yet, please contact the Pure contact person at pure-fgw@uva.nl.
Besides publications, you can add other output, such as 'Activities' and ‘Press / media’. Examples of an ‘Activity’ are giving a talk, a journal editorship, or the organisation of a conference. An example of ‘Press / media’ is a radio interview.
