    My PhD project reconsiders the construct of foreign language aptitude (FLA) from a dynamic perspective. By conducting a series of longitudinal studies using a time-series design, I aim to examine the stability of FLA throughout the process of learning a second language. I am also interested in how FLA is mediated by individual differences at different stages of language development.
