The valorization projects of "Linguistics for All" aim at making the ACLC’s linguists’ knowledge about language accessible to a broader audience.
Having worked together in 2020 on the publication of the successful tear-off calendar for 2021 “Meer dan Woorden Alleen” (sold out), publishing company Lias has published in May 2022 the book "Taalmysteries" with captivating stories by the research group “Linguistics for All” about different facets of language, with the goal of making the ACLC’s work and beyond accessible to a broader audience.
Like the tear-off calendar “Meer dan Woorden Alleen”, the book "Taalmysteries" has been produced in collaboration with IXA (Innovation Exchange Amsterdam).
In June 2024 the book : De Wereld in Taal: een reis in 40 verhalen was published (editors: Alla Peeters and Petra Sleeman, Publisher LIAS). For the creation of this book, 33 language researchers (of whom 21 are ACLC members), teachers and (PhD) students were inspired by the themes of 'world', 'language' and 'journey', which have been interpreted in a surprisingly varied way by the authors.
